Transport Superintendent (FIFO-Loadmaster)

Milum Mining and Energy Service is seeking a Transport Superintendent (FIFO-Loadmaster) to plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics operations between Kiunga and Tabubil. The role oversees linehaul convoy movements, ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely transit of OTML and client materials without incident or delay.

What you will do

• Coordinate the safe and efficient receiving, loading, dispatch, and delivery of cargo
• Plan and oversee daily cargo movements, ensuring compliance with transport, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate cargo documentation, manifests, reconciliations, and operational records
• Liaise with logistics providers, customers, and key stakeholders to ensure timely cargo delivery
• Monitor operational performance, investigate discrepancies and incidents, and provide regular reports to management

What they ask for

Education: Certificate or higher · Experience: 5+ years

• Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in transport, logistics, cargo handling, wharf, or warehouse operations
• Sound knowledge of cargo planning, documentation, load restraint, dangerous goods (DG), and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Valid driver's license with experience operating light vehicles and/or heavy mobile equipment
• Relevant certifications in load restraint, container loading, or DG handling
• Highly motivated, reliable, and safety-focused
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
